Does this fulfill state requirements? What are the state’s requirements to be a homeschool student? Who files the paperwork?
Excellence Christian Academy can help guide you through the homeschool registration process. We do not offer legal advice of any kind. You can find more information on the guidance we provide here or on the Georgia Department of Education website.
What is the parent's commitment? What if both parents work full-time? How can our family meet the volunteer commitment??
Parent volunteerism is how we are able to keep our cost so low. If you are able to work on projects at home or help with behind the scenes task, volunteer help could be offered in this way. Parents, grandparents, and relatives are also able to step in to serve. Colleagues and professionals are also welcome to volunteer their time in place of a parent or guardian.
What does your calendar look like?
We offer a year round self paced hybrid calendar beginning July 15th and ending June 30th. Fall is our busy season and we slow down a little in the Spring. We have a slow summer with activities and a long hiatus period from the first week of December through February 1st.
Please email us for a link to our calendar.
