What kind of organization is this?

Excellence Christian Academy is a home school support program providing hybrid style educational options for students with a focus on electives that bring students outside of the classroom. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization that operates under the laws outlined by the State of Georgia,


Does this fulfill state requirements? What are the state’s requirements to be a homeschool student? Who files the paperwork?

What is the parent's commitment? What if both parents work full-time? How can our family meet the volunteer commitment??

Parent volunteerism is how we are able to keep our cost so low. If you are able to work on projects or home or help with behind the scenes task, volunteer help could be offered this way. Parents, grandparents, and relatives are also able to step in to serve. Colleagues and professionals are also welcome to volunteer their time in place of a parent or guardian.


What does your calendar look like?We offer a year round self paced hybrid calendar beginning July 15th and ending June 30th. We have a long hiatus period from the first week of December through February 1st.


What is a Self Paced Action Plan?

Every student has an individualized learning plan that speaks to their learning style. Our homeschool program allows for each student to thrive and learn in the way that best suits their needs. Gone away is the "one size fits all" learning model. ECA offers support and guidance but Parents/Guardians are the sole decision makers for their students education plan.

Who is eligible?

Excellence Christian Academy does not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, color, religion, or ethnicity when admitting students. Enrollment is open to all students meeting the program requirements and based on classroom availability. ECA is not equipped to provide a high-quality education for those with significant disabilities. We would be happy to consult with families of students with special needs and offer resources in your educational journey. Each student will be considered on a case-by-case basis. 

Students with a history of severe behavior problems will not be allowed into the program. Families that are not transparent in their application about their student’s academic and behavioral needs risk mid-year dismissal from the program. Please be upfront with us so we can best help your family.
